Best way to transfer photos from your iPhone to a computer

Work has kept me busy for the last 6 months or so, but I recently helped a colleague out with getting the 1000+ photos she took with her iPhone off of her phone and print/save/store them. She is what you would call a NON-tech savvy person, so I came up with the easiest and simplest way I know how to help her transfer the photos from her iPhone to a computer (then to a photo printing service). Here are the steps:

1. Create a Dropbox account if you don't have one already. You can get one here. (Don't know what Dropbox is? It is a cloud service that lets you store your files like photos on its server, and allows you to access it anywhere with either your phone or a computer)

2. Download the Dropbox app from the Apple Apps Store.

3. Open the Dropbox app on your phone. On the bottom, you will see the "Uploads" button. Click on that and your photos will begin to be uploaded to your account.

4.1 Once they are uploaded. You can go to any computer with a browser (think work, library, friend's computer), go to www.dropbox.com, log in, and you will see all the iPhone photos you've uploaded in the "Camera Upload" folder. From there, you can save the photos to a USB flash drive, then take it to a photo printing center.

4.2 If you have a personal computer, then you can install the Dropbox software from https://www.dropbox.com/install. Once downloaded, install it and it will take you through a process where a "Dropbox folder" will be installed on your personal computer and you would be able to access all your folder there, also named "Camera Upload."

NEW Ralphs coupon policy 2012

If you live in Southern California and shop at Ralphs to take advantage of their double coupon policy and Ralphs Rewards program, then you probably already know about their new policy. If not, then you're in for a shocker. Starting April 1 2012, Ralphs will no longer be doing double coupons so every coupon will be redeemed at face value. In addition, the Ralphs Rewards program will no longer be issuing cash back certificates (which is basically a 1% savings) and the points can only be redeemed at Shell stations (100 points = 10 cents off per galon).
